ARMONK, NY - 27 Aug 2008: IDC reported today that IBM (NYSE: IBM) continues to hold the number one position in worldwide server revenue share with a 33.2 percent revenue share in the second quarter of 2008 -- surpassing HP with a 5.8 percent gap. IBM also topped the industry with a 27 percent revenue growth in overall servers from first quarter 2008.
