Terma and Austro Control expand business relations

27 July 2005, Herlev, Denmark ? Terma and Austro Control - the Austrian Air Navigation Service Provider ? are expanding their business relations as Austro Control is upgrading the airports of Linz, Graz and Salzburg with three new Automatic Terminal Information Systems (Terma ATIS). Austro Control has already installed Terma ATIS/VOLMET systems in Klagenfurt and Innsbruck connected with a data link response system in Vienna.

28 January 2005, Herlev, Denmark - The Airport Authority of India (AAI) is adding a strong boost to the market positioning of the world?s leading supplier of Automatic Terminal Information Systems (ATIS/VOLMET) in Asia. AAI ordered 11 data link-based ATIS systems. Already, Terma ATM?s ATIS systems, in data link and voice configuration, are installed and operational at multiple international and regional airports in six Asian countries.

NATS ORDERS MICRO NAV BEST 3D TOWER SIMULATOR

The UK National Air Traffic Services (NATS) has ordered a BEST ATC Tower Simulator from Micro Nav to be located at London Heathrow Airport. The major, advanced system will simulate all the many changes planned for NATS airports over the coming years and will be used familiarization and evaluation as well as training controllers for the new control tower at Heathrow.

Thales? Eurocat is selected for Uzbekistan?s new air traffic management system

The Thales and Aysel consortium has been awarded a contract to provide the Republic of Uzbekistan?s Navoļ airport with the Eurocat air traffic management system. BEST TOWER SIMULATOR FOR DUBAI

The Department of Civil Aviation (DCA) Dubai has recently awarded a contract to Micro Nav Ltd to add tower simulation capabilities to their existing ATC radar simulator. Three of the six workstations will have full two-dimensional tower and ground controller training facilities as well as data preparation and system management tools. It will be used for a range of training tasks including low visibility procedures, combined radar ? tower and multi-sector exercises.
