Universal Music signs UAE deal

Universal Music Publishing Group, the world's leading global music publishing corporation, has signed a deal with Fairwood/BKP Music (Arabia), to act as a sub-publisher and licensing representative across the UAE and neighboring region, according to a statement. The deal makes UMPG the first major global music publishing company to enter the UAE region. The new agreement will encourage the use of UMPG's catalogue in local advertising campaigns, local film and television uses, and other revenue generating uses throughout Dubai and the region.

Kuwait Telecom selects Leo Burnett

Leo Burnett Kuwait was recently awarded the creative account for the Kuwait Telecom Company - the newest telecommunications company in the Gulf state. The creative account, which will begin with the company's launch, comes in addition to the successful ongoing partnership between Leo Burnett in Saudi Arabia and KTC's mother company Saudi Telecom Company.

SRMG sets up editorial board

400 LED panels to wrap Dubai Mall

Dubai Mall is installing an integrated multimedia that would ensure a 'shopper-tainment' for its customers. A key feature inlcudes the ability to capture 'moments of exclusivity' - a single image projected across the entire mall that will ensure total visitor attention. The mall will have more than 400 high-definition LED displays and over 300 advertising panels including 40 premium panels of size 11m x 4m, located along the mall's main thoroughfares and public atrium spaces.
